Come help us celebrate a beautiful man, musician and artist, the late Hasan Abdur-Razzaq.
Hasan is an underground legend of *free jazz* saxophone playing in recent years who made a lasting impression on listeners as far and wide as Germany, Turkey, Greece, and Japan. He is someone the whole city and area can and should be proud of as he not only played in his chosen field at a high, respected level but also embraced the role of being a local ambassador. Hasan always made a point to rep Columbus and Ohio in his travels and tours, and made people in other cities genuinely curious about what else was happening here! Moreover, Hasan was a treasured friend, mentor, and ally to those of us here locally who pursued the interests of free improvisation and outside jazz.
