Garden to Table - Fire Roasted Salsa

Calling Girl Scouts of all ages!! Join your camp team at Camp Hawthorn Hollow to learn gardening and outdoor cooking basics to make fire roasted salsa!

Participants will harvest salsa plants from the CHH garden, prep the veggies, roast the ingredients over the fire, and help to make the salsa, earning their Outdoor Cooking and Fire Building Mini Patches in the process! Once the salsa is ready to eat, everyone will gather around the bonfire to enjoy chips & salsa with Jarritos.

Included in Girl Registration:
* 1.5 hours of hands on learning

* Chips & salsa
* Jarritos

Included in Adult Registration:
* 1.5 hours of hands on learning

PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
