Ecstatic Posture Trance - Horus

At this Trance session we will use the posture of the ancient (2500 BCE, old kingdom) Egyptian sky god, elder Horus. As a great bird with outstretched wings, Horus flies across the sky, seeing all. Horus brings messages and advice. Filled with Horus under the bright eye of the sun, we fly in our power like a hawk with wings out-stretched, resting in the wind. Filled with Horus at night under the moon, we are guided by mother Owl and fill with her sharp-eyed wisdom. As you go into trance, you might think about birds and fly in your power. Or you might think about your situation and ask for advice. Or you might think about a place you want to fly to.

Dr. Susan Josephson (a retired philosophy professor) will be leading the trance session. ✹ Please arrive on time. The doors will be closed when the event begins. Avoid alcohol throughout the day. Wear loose-fitting clothing and avoid wearing metal that touches the body (silver and gold are okay)
