BOW MDNR Camp at CHH (JC)

Juniors and Cadettes - join your Outdoor Education Team and the Education Staff with Michigan DNR for a weekend camp focused on "Becoming an Outdoors Woman"! Learn navigation skills, Michigan fish & wildlife life cycles, and career exploration!

Have you heard of the adult version of the Michigan DNR camp "Becoming an Outdoors Woman"? Well, your Outdoor Education Team and MDNR created a youth version of the popular camp to provide you with a unique nature conservation skillset through a variety of station-based hands-on activities!

During our weekend camp we will focus on orienteering skills by participating in "The Great Compass Quest", learn about various career pathways in fisheries and wildlife roles by participating in "Stepping Stones to your DNR Future", discover the fascinating life cycles of Michigan fauna through "A Year in the Life of Wildlife, Fish and Birds", and learn how to be proper stewards of the natural lands in our home state through the game "Sharing YOUR Public Lands".
