HELLO ARTIST MEMBERS!!
We are gearing up for the BIG Brunson Night Fundraising Event and need your help! This year's Theme is "Day of the Dead" and we will be decorating with a Fun filled Theme of Bright Flowers and Hand painted Pumpkins for the tables and room decorations! WE NEED YOUR HELP! We want to have all the "artists" from the members of Live Oak to come join us September 2nd AT 1:00 - 4:00 to actually PAINT and create the fake pumpkins for the Event center. Just come WHEN YOU CAN DURING THAT TIME FRAME!!
What you need to know:
1. Purchase 1-2 fake pumpkin at least 6" diameter of any shape (larger 8-10" even better!) to paint and DONATE to the Event
2. Any bright colored flowers or floral stems you might have on hand in your "stash" for adding to the tops or bases of your pumpkins ... (I have gathered some that I will bring if you don't have any)
3. Any old candlesticks you might want to get rid of, or items we could use as a base for the pumpkins to use as a "riser" for the pumpkins which will also be DONATED to the cause. (these will not be returned) I have several !!
4. Any craft paint you might want to use (We will be using paints that Live Oak has otherwise )
5. YOUR WELCOME TO BASE COAT YOUR PUMPKIN/PUMPKINS BEFORE YOU COME - IF THEY ARE ALREADY A COLOR YOU LIKE - LEAVE AS IS
6. Bring your drink or snack for the afternoon
7. COME AND HAVE FUN WITH US CREATING AND GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER!
We want these pumpkins to be ARTIST creations full of FUN and creativity!
We plan to raffle each table decoration pumpkin off during the night! ! Another opportunity to add funds to the LOAC Fundraising Event!
