Online Car Seat Class

This educational program is taught by currently Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians. Pre-Registration and prior eligibility required. The program helps parents be sure they are using the proper child restraint for their child’s age/weight and height and that it’s installed according to the car seat manufacturer’s instructions and vehicle owner’s manual.

Parents/caregivers, find out if you're eligible for a low-cost car seat by visiting safekidscolumbusga.org and selecting the Classes/Services tab. Eligible parents/caregivers will receive a car seat at the assigned drive-thru pickup after completing pre/post survey and attending an interactive virtual class.
