Gabor Szucs was born in Budapest, Hungary, to parents of Jassic (Eastern Iranian) and Cuman (Turkic) Hungarian origin. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 27. He spent time in Birmingham, Alabama, but his music career took off on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee, where he regularly performed at Blues City Cafe under the stage name Little G Weevil, "Hungarian blues artist with a Memphis flare.”* His first solo recordings were produced in Memphis.
Little G Weevil is the 29th International Blues Challenge Winner, 35th USA Blues Music Award Nominee, and 2X Blues Blast Music Award Nominee singer, songwriter, guitarist, lyricist, storyteller, and producer with nine highly acclaimed albums under his belt. His compositions are heavily influenced by southern blues sounds. Gee is a proud honorary lifetime membership recipient of the Atlanta Blues Society. He is endorsed by Peavey.
