UPDATE FROM THE COLUMBIA IL HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Columbia Illinois Historical Society (CIHS) is excited to announce we have a workday scheduled for the Miller-Fiege home on Saturday, September 13 beginning at 9 AM.
Workday - Sat, Sept 13:
We need all folks that are able and wish to help at the workday to be at the home starting at 9 AM, 140 S. Main Street. We will be getting the first floor ready for an Open House during FestiFall which is Saturday October 5. All able bodied folks are requested to bring their favorite cleaning supplies, Rubbermaid style tubs for washing items, rags, vacuum cleaners, and dust cloths, etc.
FestiFall - Sat, Oct 5:
We will have a booth at FestiFall directing folks to the home and answering questions about our mission.
The public is welcome, and all volunteers are needed for these events.

Membership Meeting - Tues, Oct 21:
Our next public membership meeting will be Tuesday, October 21 starting at 6:30 in the basement meeting room at the Columbia Library. We will update everyone on our goals and the Miller-Fiege home. There will also be a short presentation on local history.
