HOW TO CRAFT A TELLABLE STORY
- 2-SESSION WORKSHOP (5/10 + 5/31)

Learn to structure and tell true experience stories for live events (6-8 minutes long) -- these are personal essays in the style of "The Moth Radio Hour" and PBS-TV's "Stories from the Stage" (i.e. not kid stories or myths, not open-mic style anecdotes).
Get personalized coaching and feedback on your story content and live presentation skills from Flathead Story Concert founders and story coaches Barbara & Glenn Schiffman, plus fellow workshop attendees.
Craft a true personal experience 6-8 minute story you could tell (optional) on June 14th at Uptown Hearth (in Columbia Falls) at a special fundraiser for THE MAKING PLACE -- a new non-profit for crafters, artists & makers of all types.

This is a special two-part workshop -- attendance at the first session on May 10th is required to participate in the second session on May 31st.
One fee covers both sessions = $30 total, prepaid

Workshop Schedule:
Part one = May 10: Attendees will learn how to craft a tellable story with the expertise of Barbara and Glenn Schiffman of Flathead Story Concerts.
Part two = May 31: Participants will have the opportunity to tell their story to the group after working on it at home between the workshop sessions.
Then = Workshop attendees will have to opportunity to tell their story at The Making Place's live story event on June 14, 2025 at WHITE RAVEN WINERY in Columbia Falls.
(Participation in June 14th story event is optional for attendees but encouraged;
workshop attendees will get priority for spots to tell their stories.)
Curated and co-hosted by Barb & Glenn for The Making Place, this live spoken word story event is a fundraiser for The Making Place -- TMP will be hosting a variety of events at their new ongoing home at Uptown Hearth (3rd floor) starting in June!
