Join us for the 5th Annual Waves of Education 5K—a family-friendly race and celebration of community, education, and fun! Run a beautiful, fast course through Oak Ridge Park while supporting educational access for children in need. This race will be professionally timed and features pre- and post-race activities for all ages, including a Kids Fun Run, yoga stretch, raffles, prizes, face painting, and more!

8:00 AM – 8:45 AM | Check-in and bib pickup
9:00 AM | Yoga stretch & pre-race welcome speech
9:15 AM | Start of the 5K
9:15 AM – 11:30 AM | Kids activities (crafts, games, and more!)
10:30 AM | Kids Fun Run
11:00 AM | Awards and raffle winners announced
🕒 Timing & 🏆 Awards
The 5K will be run on a USATF-certified course and professionally chip-timed by Tristate Timing. Awards will be presented to top male and female finishers following the race. Live results will be available online and at the finish line.
