Dead Bob is the solo incarnation of John Wright, drummer from long time and apparently legendary but now retired Punk rock band No Means No.

Life Like, a NMN cover actually, is the first album John has released on his own. Though primarily written and performed by John he can’t take all the credit having engaged the help of several friends to get this thing done.

Recorded and Produced by John in the wilds of British Columbia, this album's material spans several decades and there is a lot more in the archives.

As might be expected the songs roll out cohesively but defy the cookie cutters and pigeon holes hence "Genre" is a tough one to convey but one thing that is not unclear is it is not to be listened to quietly!

WORK DEATH BALANCE meinen klar ja und nehmen die besten Zutaten aus der Ära des Eisernen Vorhangs und kochen eine gemischte Platte für die echten Punk-Gourmets unter euch. So jetzt studiert mal alle schön eure geschundene Plattensammlung (also die bis 1986 oder so) damit auch alle Zutaten wohlbekannt sind und der Abgang nicht durch fatale Unwissenheit vermiest wird. Ach so. Die beteiligten Künstler haben, wie sollte es anders sein, natürlich schon in einigen anderen, gefeierten (räusper) Ensembles gewirkt. Und das bereits in den 80ties. Namedropping? Lassen wir. WDB Rules OK!
