Enjoy a prohibition memorial with the North Penn Elks Lodge!
We're commemorating the reopening of a lodge from yesteryears. During prohibition, Elks Lodges were forbidden from serving alcohol.
Sometimes a lodge could serve near beer so long as it held less than 1% alchol. One lodge had some in reserve for a private dinner, the near beer was confiscated and found to have 3% alcohol. As punishment, the lodge was shuttered for 6 months by the Grand Exalted Ruler.
To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of a lodge surviving the almost sale of near beer, we are hosting our very own speakeasy as a fundraiser for the lodge.
Doors open at 6:30!
Each Ticket includes a signature drink of choice, light refreshments in a 1920's style, Parlour Noir playing live music, and more. We plan to reveal more information in posts along the way.
As always, parking at the Elks Lodge is free.
We only have 125 tickets available for $30 dollars each and hope you'll buy ahead of time.
Digitally purchase with Venmo or in cash at the lodge in advance.
To purchase via Venmo please send privately and include your email address so we can send you the password.
