Where the Scarecrows Roam - Halloween on Main Street

The Just Treats No Tricks tradition continues on Halloween, Friday, October 31st as the City of Collinsville presents "Where the Scarecrows Roam - Halloween on Main Street" in the City Plaza! We'll start at the City Plaza at 5:30 PM (be sure and get there early as this is always a very big event) the costume parade will take place with trick-or-treaters parading down Main Street for everyone to see their costumes.

Trick-or-treaters will then trick or treat their way back to the City Plaza. Downtown Merchants will be handing out candy. New this year we are having a Scarecrow Decorating Contest. Bring your best decorated Scarecrow to the City Plaza to be on display and receive Votes as the Crowd Favorite. We'll be awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place ribbons as well as the Crowd Favorite Award. Votes for Crowd Favorite are just $1 each and the winning Scarecrow will get to split ALL the total votes 50/50. The other 50% will go into the Historic Preservation Fund to further the renovations taking place at the Depot Museum. This is a great way to raise funds for your favorite youth group, church organization, sports team or just your family!!!

There will be FREE hot dogs grilled in the Plaza by the Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry and Shelter Free Will Baptist church. There will also be a couple food trucks on hand.

The annual costume contests will take place back at the Plaza beginning at 6:30 PM.

We'll have lots of contests, music, and fun activities for the whole family. Don't miss this year's Just Treats - No Tricks "Where the Scarecrows Roam - Halloween on Main Street!"
