We’re excited to host our first ever Coyote Hunt!
This event is open to Georgia resident hunters! Valid hunting permit is required for all participants and will be checked at registration.
Registration will begin at 4:30pm at Layne’s Sport Shop. Each team should consist of three members with a selected team captain. Give your team a name! The team captain will be responsible for completing the registration form, but all team members must come through with their captain to present hunting permits. Entry fee is $300/team for grand prize and $20 each for heaviest and smallest coyote side pots.
All team members will receive door prize tickets and meal tickets. Door prizes will be given out at 6:00pm SHARP prior to send-off. If you’re not present to register prior to that, you will miss out.
You can purchase raffle tickets for guns. Gun raffle winners will be drawn at 8am. You must be present to win!
Absolutely NO ONE will be allowed to begin hunting prior to 6:30pm. We will have an organized send-off.
FOR EACH K*ll, at least one team member MUST have a picture OR video with time stamp. Otherwise, that animal will not count!
Teams can hunt anywhere they have permission to hunt. All local, state, & federal laws apply. NO use of dogs and NO trapping. Should any of these rules be broken, you will be disqualified. We are not responsible if you get caught breaking laws!
All teams MUST arrive to check-in their kills by 8:00am! Teams are LATE at 8:01am and will forfeit their entry.
We know it will be a long night for everyone! Snacks & energy drinks will be provided prior to send-off and breakfast will be provided at check-in beginning at 7:30am.
Announcement of winners will take place once all teams have returned & results have been tallied.
Teams are responsible for disposal of their own kills.
