A beginner UI/UX course presented by Felicia Phillips.
Interested in a career in tech but don't want to code? UI/UX design is the perfect path for you! This four-week workshop is the perfect place to begin. You'll get hands-on experience with the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and testing. Workshop sessions will take place on Sundays, October 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2025. Registrants should plan to attend all sessions. Please plan to bring your own laptop or an iPad with Apple Pencil with you each week.
In this workshop, you will:
Learn the core principles of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design.
Get experience working with industry-standard tools like Figma and others.
Work on a meaningful project by choosing an environmental cause to support.
Design and build a website or digital product that makes a real impact.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a completed project for your portfolio and the skills to create intuitive, beautiful designs.
For adults and teens ages 15 and up. Registration required. Please note, this program requires a minimum of 6 participants to move forward -- so please invite interested friends to register!
