Wind down your day with a peaceful Sunset Hike at Millican Reserve. This guided walk will take participants through the scenic trails of the Reserve, ending at the Boathouse overlook just in time to catch the sun setting over Lake Prescott.
This hike is designed to slow your pace, connect you with the landscape, and offer a tranquil close to the day. Along the way, we’ll observe wildlife activity at dusk, discuss the transition from day to night in natural ecosystems, and enjoy the sounds of nature as the light fades.
Bring a friend, a camera, or simply your appreciation for natural beauty—this hike is the perfect way to welcome the evening.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
What to Bring:
Refillable water bottle
Closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
Optional: binoculars or camera for sunset views
Parking:
Please use the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve (19851 FM 2154). Designated parking is available at Basecamp. You MAY NOT PROCEED past the parking area in your vehicle.
