Business After Hours

The North Country Chamber of Commerce invites business community members to attend a Business After Hours event on Thursday, September 25 from 5:30-7:30 PM at their office located at 100 Main Street in Colebrook (previously the home of Hill’s Department Store). A new business, Lone Wolf Accounting operated by Vicki Goodrum, will be highlighted, as well as Darlene Smith’s long-time business, Colebrook Copy Center, which relocated to the building a year ago. The Chamber of Commerce office is housed here as well, and Executive Director Butch Ladd welcomes folks to stop by for a visit.

Prior to the Business After Hours, Keith Young will be providing a free workshop on the topic of business insurance. This will be offered next door at George M. Stevens Insurance office from 4:30-5:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to come over to the Business After Hours afterwards, to enjoy light refreshments, learn more about the businesses operating there and network by exchanging business cards and visiting with fellow community members. A ribbon cutting will be performed and announcements will be made at approximately 6:30 PM.

Business After Hours events serve as a way for community members to get together and learn more about local businesses and the Chamber, in an open house style format. The Chamber offers these promotional/social opportunities as well as ribbon cutting ceremonies to member businesses.
