Hip Hop Workshop

Step into the spotlight and bust a move with an In the Zone Hip-Hop Workshop – a high-energy, hands-on dance session for young movers and groovers!

Join Shaun Parker & Company dancer Libby Montilla to learn classic hip-hop dance moves. This 45-minute workshop dives into iconic street styles like tutting, popping, waving, and isolation. Learn signature moves like ‘the Bart Simpson’, ’the Janet Jackson’, ’the Smurf’, and ‘Alf’, culminating in a fun dance sequence allowing all participants to show off their moves, celebrating creativity, confidence and self-expression.

Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop is fun, inclusive, and a great way for young audiences to connect with the themes of the show – movement, technology, and being in control of your own story.
