Bandaluzia Flamenco Workshop

Join Bandaluzia Flamenco on a journey of discovery and exploration into the exciting world of flamenco! In this immersive workshop, participants will gain an introductory understanding of the history, cultural context, and performance techniques of this unique and vibrant art form.

Participants will start their flamenco adventure by learning various rhythms with palmas (flamenco percussive hand claps). From there, they will be introduced to Flamenco dance, as the ensemble demonstrates simple rhythmic markings and body movements for participants to practice and perfect.

This comprehensive and interactive workshop offers participants the chance to delve into flamenco’s rich history, musical styles, and cultural significance, as well as its ongoing evolution. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this workshop promises to be a fun and enriching experience for everyone.
