Since first picking up a guitar at the age of thirteen, Chris Cornish has been channeling the spirit and fire of legendary players like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, and Edward Van Halen into his electrifying and soulful style. Hailing from the culturally rich city of Pensacola in the Florida Panhandle, Chris was steeped in Southern sounds from an early age—a foundation that’s evident in his bluesy, heartfelt vocals reminiscent of Gregg Allman and Warren Haynes.


In his early twenties, Chris’s talent caught the eye of Grammy-winning producer and multi-instrumentalist Trae Pierce, who invited him to join the touring band of Ray Sawyer (of Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show fame). This opportunity gave Chris invaluable experience on international stages and deepened his command as a performer.


Over the years, Chris has opened for and performed alongside numerous national acts, both with his own band and as a sought-after sideman. While he honors the legacy of guitar greats, Chris’s playing is anything but imitation—it’s a personal, passionate voice that breathes new life into the blues-rock tradition.


From roadhouse Honky Tonks to major festivals, Chris Cornish delivers performances that are guaranteed to move and groove audiences with every note.
