Please join us on September 6th from 1-5 pm for a smoked chicken benefit dinner at the Moose Lodge of Meadville.
This dinner is to support David Gledhill who is battling a rare type of cancer that started in his bladder in 2024.
After completing a cystectomy and chemo in the fall of 2024, we were hopeful the cancer would not return, but on Memorial Day, 2025, David went into the ER due to persistent nausea and abdominal discomfort only to discover a scan revealed three new tumors returned in the area where his bladder was removed.
This type of cancer is rare, aggressive, and fast growing.
David has also experienced a small bowel obstruction resulting in the placement of an ileostomy bag thanks to the tumors and also endured kidney failure, continuous renal replacement therapy, and a nephrostomy procedure.
He has continued to fight and push through but his body is weak.
We are hoping this benefit will help to raise money and offset any financial burdens during this hard time.
I can’t thank everyone enough for all the donations and help we have already received!!
We can’t wait to see our friends, family and community come together on September 6th to show our dad all the love and support he deserves!
