NPC Meeting Monday December 1, 2025 at the Salvation Army Church Gym, 59 Ballantine Street, Cobourg. Door opens at 6:30 p.m. for socializing (meet and greet) and the meeting commences with our speaker at 7 p.m. Meetings include a break and finish around 9:30 p.m after member slideshows are presented.
Guests are welcome for a fee of $5.00 (cash) which can be used towards your membership fees if you decide to join our club. We are always looking for new members!

Travel Photography & Norway Travelogue
"I am very much looking forward to returning to the Northumberland Photography Club. I will be discussing travel photography in general and presenting a Norway Travelogue. Norway is a
country whose tourism has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years and is an immensely popular destination for photographers. Having recently returned from a month-long
tour, and including previous trips, I have a great variety of photographs to share with you and give you some insight into traveling in Norway."
Leif Petersen - Biography
Leif has been involved in photography for over 40 years. In his 17 years with the Oshawa Camera Club, he has served 2 terms as the President. He is in his 4th year as President of the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C) and is the immediate Past President and currently the Treasurer of the Toronto Focal Forum, a group of avid photographers who print and evaluate their images. He enjoys his role as an Ambassador for Panasonic Canada, which involves evaluating their Lumix equipment and promoting their technology. He is an O3C accredited judge. Leif’s extensive travel includes trips to 33 countries and all 7 continents. He enjoys sharing his photographic knowledge and enjoyment of travelling by hosting photo tours to Norway, through Photo Tour Trekkers, as well as presentations on various aspects of photography. He prints and mats his own images and offers these services to other photographers.
