Celebrate National Forest Week: Guided Tour of RCF

Join us for a guided tour during National Forest week through Beachburg Tract of the Renfrew County Forest. We'll talk about invasive species, pressures on forests from climate change, and forest management used to mitigate these impacts. You'll see and hear about recent forest management activities including recent plantation thinnings and 45,000 trees planted this spring. We will also talk about wildlife and recreational values, and we'll evaluate an area scheduled to be harvested in 2026.
