The "Chad" CrossFit Hero workout is 1,000 box step-ups completed as fast as possible while wearing a weighted backpack. It honors Navy SEAL Senior Chief Chad Wilkinson, who died by suicide after suffering from PTSD, TBIs, and blast-wave injuries from deployments. The workout aims to raise awareness of veteran suicide and mental health.
