Penguin Project 2026 Parent Meeting 🐧

We are gearing up for one of our favorite events of our theater season, THE PENGUIN PROJECT! 🐧 This year's production will be announced VERY SOON, but we are already preparing for what will surely be an incredibly special event! 🌟

Join us for a Parent Information Meeting for the 2026 Penguin Project production on Thursday, January 29 at 6:00 PM in the Dow Arena Theater at the Center for the Arts and Sciences, 400 College Blvd. Clute, TX. 📆

🎭 The Penguin Project is a program for artists ages 10-21 with special needs. It provides an opportunity for children with special needs to develop creative skills related to the theater arts and participate in community theater. The project serves to facilitate joint participation between young artists with special needs and same-age peers through a community theater experience. Peer mentors work side-by-side with their artist partners and assist throughout the rehearsal and performance process.🤩

If you are the parent of a child or young adult (ages 10-21) with special needs *OR* the parent of a mentor, please make plans to attend this meeting! We will discuss expectations, rehearsal schedules and more as we prepare for our spring production, slated for May 8-10.
