Los Vivos y Los Muertos juried art exhibition

We want YOU to submit art for our third annual juried art exhibition, Los Vivos y Los Muertos!

<<<los vivos="" y="" los="" muertos="">>> is an exhibition featuring art that explores and honors the cultures, heritage, traditions and rich history of Mexico and the southwest United States with a concentration on work inspired by Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

Emerging and established artists (ages 16 and above) are invited to submit images of completed work for consideration. Submission is open to the public through September 8 at 5:00 PM. The entry fee is $15 per submission, up to 3 submissions. No additional, incomplete or late submissions will be accepted.

A Best in Show prize of $1,000 will be awarded to a single piece. A single “runner up” prize of $300 will also be awarded.

This juried exhibition is being hosted by Brazosport Fine Arts Council will be held on site at The Center for the Arts & Sciences from October 7 through November 2, 2025.

A reception and awards presentation for artists accepted into the exhibition and their guests will be held on Saturday, October 10 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
