Kids Yoga at OTY/5-10 year olds

Old Town Yoga has scheduled kids yoga to coincide with a Level 1 class so both caretakers and kids can enjoy an hour of yoga that is just right for them.

On Wednesdays at 4:30pm (early release days in CUSD), caretakers can enjoy a Level 1 class with Wendy while their 5-10 year olds practice with Allison and Marla.

Allison Davis and Marla Weber are both certificated educators in the state of California and have many years of school teaching and yoga teacher experience between them. They will lead children through various age-appropriate creative yoga/mindfulness exercises to include safety procedures, yoga warm-up, mindful movement activities, guided relaxation/meditation. Topics may include the animal kingdom, the natural world, the water cycle, man-made machines. Students will move their bodies and learn yoga asanas, work cooperatively within a group of peers, learn mindfulness and self-regulation techniques, and make connections with real world topics.

Caretakers are required to remain on-site during this class. No drop-offs. Go to oldtownyogastudio.com to register.
