Hey kids its time to bring back a fine old clitheroe tradition (the pram race)
rather than an actual race we're encouraging you to try and drink responsibly 🫣
here's the rules,
teams of 2-4 people
everybody dresses up!
at least 1 member of your team has to be a baby and at least 1 member has to be a responsible parent (of your opposite sex) so females become dads for the day and males become the mums, (and because I know this question will be asked, those that identify as the other or none already please dress as whatever makes you feel less comfortable) its all about having a laugh, getting together and raising money for a great cause.
on arrival each team will be presented with your birth certificate inside this there will be a list of pubs in clitheroe to visit and upon purchasing a drink (non alcoholic drinks available for anyone expecting/not drinking) you will have your birth certificate stamped.
note you do not need to finish every pub and you do not need to visit any pub in a certain order, some will have different opening times so feel free to go any way you chose.
Bedtime is back at the royal British legion by 9pm where we will have prizes for the best dressed, Baby, mummy and daddy, if we get more prizes we will have more categories or even a raffle. so please if you'd like to donate a prize get in touch.
be as imaginative as you can and let's create something memorable for years to come.
*teams must stay together and all purchase a drink to get stamps
*its up to you if you'd like to bring a makeshift pram but please be respectful, we dont need 30 baby carriages the size of mini coopers stopping the general public from their usual afternoon shopping in our lovely town.
*be courteous to the bar staff, we're expecting this to be a popular event so if one bar seems too busy to wait, please try another.
*no underage drinking, youngsters are more than free to take part but will only be served soft drinks and will need a real responsible adult.
*£10 entry for each person participating every penny will go to charity.
have a great day kids and help spread the word.
