Wellin Kids | Fantastic Figurines

Drop in to explore art and make a creative project as a family! Wellin Kids programs draw inspiration from original works of art and provide an opportunity to experiment. This week, we will use collage techniques to adorn and personalize figurines of serpents, unicorns, and dragons, inspired by the 3D characters designed by Jamea Richmond-Edwards on view in the current exhibition Jamea Richmond-Edwards: Another World and Yet the Same.

The first hour (2 – 3 p.m.) is recommended for younger children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade and the second hour (3:30 – 4:30 p.m.) is recommended for children in 3rd through 5th grade.

Admission is free. This interactive program is intended for children with their parents/caregivers. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Visitors must sign in and leave the museum between sessions to allow us to reset the program. Due to limited space, children may only attend one session. For families with children in both age ranges, feel free to choose the time frame that works best for your family.
