Join us in the Meeting Room at the Clinton Township Public Library for the Clinton Community Swap Event! November 1st, from 10am to 2pm!
Bring in items you no longer need instead of throwing them in the landfill and swap for things you’ll use! This FREE community event is a fun way to give your stuff a new home to help prevent waste and promote reuse while connecting with others in the community. Since this is just before the holiday season we are encouraging folks to bring in kids toys and other items families could use for holiday gifts. You can take items without bringing anything or bring items without taking anything.
Acceptable items for swap include clean, gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, books, home decor, household items, kitchenware, children’s items & toys, holiday items, etc. All items should be clean and in good working condition, with no missing parts. Personal care products, lotions, broken and recalled items will not be accepted. Please no large items like furniture due to limited space.
If you have items to bring, please arrive as close to the start of the event as possible to ensure the tables are full for everyone to explore. When you arrive, you will be directed to our volunteers for a quick intake process to confirm that we can accept everything.
At the end of the event, any leftover items can either be picked up and taken home or left for donation to local reuse and non-profit organizations.
