Caring for Caregivers

Watch a short film from PBS that highlights the personal experiences of millions of caregivers — both paid and unpaid — revealing their daily challenges and triumphs. Then, a panel of local caregiving experts will talk about resources and answer your questions. Listen as representatives from Daughter for Hire, Hospice, the Oneida County Office of the Aging, and Preswick Glen talk about resources that you can access.

This is an important program for everyone. As former First Lady Rosalyn Carter said, “There are only four kinds of people in the world - those that have been caregivers, those that are caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.”
