Beginning Quilting/Sewing class

If part of your New Year's plan is to take a Beginning Quilt or just learn how to sew class or you received a new machine for Christmas, then you should sign up for this class! It begins January 6 and runs for 5 sessions every other week. The dates are: January 6, 20, February 3, 17, March 3. Time is 5:30-8:30 and the cost is $150 or you can pay $30 per session. If a session is missed, you are still responsible for paying for the missed session. We will be making a quilt called Shortcake, which is beginner friendly, and will really get you familiar with your machine and sewing skills if you are a true beginner. You will also learn cutting techniques as well as pressing techniques. So if your goal is learning how to sew and follow written directions, this project will certainly get you started!! We will be making the throw size, which is 56 x 64. If you are a seasoned quilter, you may want to make the twin or queen size.
