Tree Care and Maintenence Workshop

📅Friday, February 6, 2026. Registration from 8-8:30 am.
Instruction beginning at 8:30 am.

Specialists from Auburn University will be coming up to Cleveland on Friday, February 6, 2026 to present a training that offers practical guidance for growing healthy landscape trees to tree care professionals and municipal workers. This would also be a great training for school personnel taking care of a school’s landscape. Topics to be addressed include:
-Proper tree pruning
-Tree selection
-Tree health
-Risk assessment of hazard trees
-Trees and construction
-Tree planting
-Outdoor demonstration

Pre-registration is required for planning purposes.
The event is free. Snacks and drinks will be on hand.
Lunch will be on your own.
