Rustbelt Country trio The Shootouts—vocalist/guitarist Ryan Humbert, backing vocalist/guitarist Emily Bates, and lead guitarist Brian Poston—have announced a series of special events commemorating the band’s 10th anniversary, marking a decade since their debut show on October 10, 2015 (10/10/15).
The band will return to the Happy Dog in Cleveland, OH, the venue of their first two gigs ever—a full‑band show at the intimate venue, with just 175 advance tickets available at only $10 to celebrate the occasion. The Shootouts have become a mainstay in roots country and Americana scenes, known for their energy, tight musicianship, and storytelling.
The Shootouts’ latest album, Switchback—released on May 30, 2025, on Transoceanic Records—has received high praise for its bold mix of traditional country, bluegrass, roots rock, and Americana. Reviewers described the album as “precise and electric” and highlighted notable collaborations with Sam Bush, Vince Gill, Lindsay Lou, Mickey Raphael, and Rodney Crowell.
Rolling Stone called the album “the sleeper Americana LP of the Summer,” while it spent over 10 weeks in the Americana Music Association’s “Top 10 Album Chart,” peaking at #4.
