Ride for Sylvia

Join family and friends of Sylvia Bingham for a memorial bike ride to honor her memory and promote safe streets. Sylvia Bingham was tragically killed while riding her bicycle to work on September 15th 2009.

Cyclists will gather at 9:00am on Saturday, September 20th at the corner of W. 11th and Fairfield (at the Bike Box) in Tremont, near where Sylvia lived. The ride will roll out at 9:30am towards E. 21st and Prospect, where those on the ride will gather briefly for a remembrance and placing of flowers. Following the placing of flowers and remarks we will ride back to the starting location as a group. Total distance will be about 5 miles.
