Presentation on Jane Austen by Professor Makayla B. Jenkins

This December 16th marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. 🎉

Austen, a prominent British novelist of romance and social satire, is best known for her literary masterpiece, Pride and Prejudice. During this event, Prof. Makayla B. Jenkins, a specialist on nineteenth-century women's writing, will host an informative talk, celebrating Austen's works and legacy.

This lecture will be followed by a lively Q&A session. Austen’s wry wit and complex characterization have had a profound impact on both literary history and popular culture; together, we will revel in her humor and wisdom.
