We invite you to be part of a transformative day of healing, learning, and action hosted by Project LIFT Services in partnership with the OhioMHAS. This event brings together community leaders, mental health professionals, justice advocates, and families to address the urgent and disproportionate impact of suicide within Black communities.
The day begins with a grounding wellness activity to acknowledge the weight of this topic and honor those affected by loss and crisis. Together, we’ll explore Revisioning Reentry through Restorative Justice Practices and Inclusion, a CEU-approved training (1.5 CEUs, OCSWMFT) examining the intersections of trauma, incarceration, systemic harm, and suicide prevention in justice-impacted communities.
We’ll hear directly from Brandon Johnson, Suicide Prevention Expert, in a bold Q&A session, “What Now, What Next: Reclaiming Life in the Black Community,” as we discuss what’s needed to move forward.
After a community lunch, choose from one of our healing-centered breakout sessions:
The day closes with a powerful training on Fostering School Connectedness for Suicide Prevention in Black Youth (1 CEU, OCSWMFT), equipping educators, caregivers, and advocates with tools to build safe, supportive environments where Black youth can thrive.
This is more than an event—it’s a call to action. Be part of the movement to reimagine wellness, restore hope, and reclaim life in our communities.
Space is limited. Register today to reserve your seat.
