The Bop Stop continues our anniversary weekend featuring bassist and composer Darren Frate. The Darren Frate Group returns to BOP STOP to present an evening of tasteful and carefully crafted compositions that will delight and make you groove.

Tickets to attend this show are $20 each in advance, $25 day of show. This event will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Youtube Channel at showtime. Accessing the stream is free but donations are encouraged and directly support the band.

Darren Frate Groups music has been described as world music, jazz and jazz fusion woven together by bass driven grooves and improvisation. The leader, bassist Darren Frate is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and two time recipient of the Ohio Arts Councils "Individual Excellence Award" in composition. The group will be debuting new ensemble compositions, solo bass pieces as well as works from the bands release "Resonance".
