Cuyahoga River Cleanup with Trash Fish CLE

Join Ohio Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Trash Fish CLE for a hands-on cleanup of the Cuyahoga River — and help protect one of Ohio’s most iconic waterways. Whether you’re a public land steward, urban angler, or just want to make a difference, this is your chance to roll up your sleeves and give back to the river that shaped Cleveland.

We’ll be awarding a prize for the most unique piece of trash found — so keep your eyes peeled for something strange, historic, or just plain weird!

After we wrap up, head over to Forest City Brewery for a well-earned drink, food, and good company. It’s a great time to swap stories, connect with fellow conservationists, and learn how to get more involved in Ohio’s public lands and waters.

We have 15 kayaks to offer but if you're able to bring your own, more folks can hit the water!
