Boris Oicherman is a visual artist, curator, arts administrator and composer, releasing music as Against Interpretation. His debut record “.1,” released by Abstrakce Records in 2025, employs Jaki Liebezeit's rhythm theory to create minimal yet texturally rich soundscapes. His second record, “Stimmen / Voices / Голоса," uses the same method to translate the poetry of Paul Celan in dub, and is forthcoming. He performs on a SOMA Laboratory and Moog semimodular synthesizers.
