Great Backyard Bird Count

Join the Ornithology Center naturalists to count the birds we observe from the bird feeder rooms and learn about ways you can attract birds to your backyard this spring. No birding experience necessary! Feeder count worksheets and learning materials will be available anytime during open hours Friday February 14th -Sunday February 17th, Fri-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 1-5pm.

Launched in 1998 by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society, the Great Backyard Bird Count was the first online citizen-science project to collect data on wild birds and to display results in near real-time.
