Gearing Up Program Bike Launch -- SLAP

***Please note the date change. Our in person launch was rescheduled due to weather, but we will still be present at the Zoom call SLAP has scheduled instead.**

FYT is proud to be sponsoring Swim Like a Pro (SLAP) for the 2026 youth race season as part of its Gearing Up Program. This sponsorship will allow new kids ages 6-12 to show up and try a road bike free of charge by simply showing up.

It will also allow families to lend bikes directly from FYT without a huge up front financial commitment. We have reserved several slots in our fleet just for SLAP, and hope to lend these bikes to aspiring triathletes.

If you know a child who is interested in biking, and wants to try (and maybe even borrow) a road bike, you should NOT miss this practice.

If you are interested in having your child try SLAP free for the first time, please contact us and we will make arrangements with them. Also, entry to Lake Louisa State Park is $5.
