July Book Choice: Hide by Nell Pattison

Our July choice is a gripping psychological thriller set on Boxing Day, when a group of seven friends embark on a winter hike through a secluded nature reserve. What begins as a peaceful birdwatching outing quickly turns into a nightmare when a gunshot rings out, leaving one of the group dead. With no one else around, it becomes clear that the killer is among them. As night falls and tensions rise, the friends must confront their secrets and suspicions to survive the night. The novel delves into themes of trust, betrayal, and the complexities of human relationships, delivering a suspenseful narrative with unexpected twists.
