Join Ginger from Soapbox for a hands-on natural soapmaking workshop designed to help you create safer, high-quality soap for yourself and your family.
Why Learn to Make Natural Soap?
• Skin is a semi-permeable membrane — what you put on it can eventually enter your bloodstream
• What enters your blood is processed by your kidneys and liver
• Making your own soap gives you full control over the ingredients
What You’ll Learn & Experience
• Step-by-step instruction on how to make natural soap from scratch (including lye safety)
• The history of soap and how to recognize a truly good bar
• Three easy natural soap recipes to try at home (with detailed instructions)
• Helpful soapmaking resources for continued learning
You’ll create your own loaf of soap — about 4–5 bars (approximately 1.3 pounds) — to take home. That’s enough soap to last a few months, and it also makes practical, low-waste gifts.
Registration & Payment
To save your spot, we ask for a small sign-up fee. This allows us to reserve your seat and prepare materials specifically for you.
The remaining balance of $44 is due 2 days before class.
Please note:
The sign-up fee is non-refundable, except if the soapmaker must cancel or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
