My brother, Jeff Swaney (Class of 1976), is returning to Metro Detroit to promote his book and also visit with family and friends.
This stop is just one of many legs of his national tour including, but not limited to Bend and Portland, Oregon; Dallas and Austin, Texas; San Francisco and Los Angeles, California; Nashville, Tennessee; and New York, New York. Encore tours in Bend and Dallas.
Of course, this is a special stop, as Detroit and Royal Oak are where the story begins.
The writer in the family, I was surprised that my brother published before me. And even as his sister, I have to say that this is an excellent read. It has received 5/5 stars on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble.com and GoodReads.com.
All are welcome to attend the event at Barnes & Noble, 396 John R Road in Troy at 1pm sharp, for a short reading, Q&A, and book signings. Books will be available on hand for purchase.
