Lighted Night Ski

The Annual Lighted Night Ski is coming up again! This event always takes place on the first Saturday of February (weather and snow permitting). Whether you are an avid skier, a complete newby or something in between, this event is for you! Bring the entire family and all your friends out for a night of winter adventure. The trails will be groomed and lit by candles, a fire will be going in the lodge, hobo stew will be on the fire outside, and hot cocoa and treats will be available in the lodge. All of that for FREE? Yes, but we do ask that you bring a canned good to be added to the stew for all to enjoy! Any extra canned food will be donated to the local food pantry after the event. No need to register, but you can reserve some ski boots ahead of time if you would like. All equipment is available on a first-come-first-served basis in the Allan and Fayette Meyer Nature Center! We recommend a head lamp, but it is not required.
