In This Together: Embracing the Messiness of Motherhood

"In This Together" is a 12-session support/education group designed for women within the military community who are currently pregnant or have given birth within the last year. This group will not be completely limited to what traditionally constitutes as "perinatal" years but can also include women diagnosed with a perinatal mood disorder, and birth/adoptive parents who can benefit from support during this challenging time. Enrollment is free.

Week 1: Intro and Myths of Motherhood
Week 2: Mom Guilt
Week 3: Setting boundaries in pregnancy and motherhood
Week 4: Overwhelmed, Overstimulated, OVER IT!
Week 5: Carrying the mental workload—Handling transitions in the family
Week 6: Where is my Village?
Week 7: Mom Rage
Week 8: Intrusive Thoughts
Week 9: Rolling with the punches—parenting at different stages (from infancy to teens)
Week 10: Self-Care vs. Self Soothing
Week 11: Open Forum
Week 12: Getting Your Pink Back and Wrap Up
