Regal Creek Ramble

Join the Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness as we step back out into the backcountry for a winter hike up Regal Creek.

This trip will be start about 3 miles down Lightning Creek Road and we’ll stroll down along Lightning Creek and then climb a short way up Regal Creek trail to magnificent views of the valley below. This will be an out and back trip of about 6 to 7 miles. This adventure will be suitable for all abilities. If you haven’t experienced the Scotchman Peaks, you will quickly understand why the trail is called Regal Creek…the views are that special.

Bring: layers of clothes, lunch, water, camera, snowshoes, and traction devices.

Hike time frame is 10:00am – 4:30pm Idaho time (11am-5:30pm Montana time)
