Community Pathways to Access Literacy

Join us as Tammy Schaapherder, the Clarinda Community Literacy Coordinator, will be introducing Community Pathways to Access Literacy, known as CPals. This program was developed in cooperation with the Clarinda Library Foundation and will focus on three key areas including improving access to literacy, providing education on various literacy issues, creating community wide engagement with literacy.

Tammy will also tell us about the community wide literacy kickoff event. Beginning Sept. 8th, community members are encouraged to participate in a variety of literacy activities which will introduce many of the ongoing literacy programs.

The talk is held in the back room of J's Pizza and all are welcome to attend. You need not be a member of Kiwanis.
