🎺 Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree 🎺
Join us for Clarinda’s longest-running and most beloved tradition!
This collaborative event—hosted by the Clarinda Chamber of Commerce, Clarinda Community Schools, and the City of Clarinda—welcomes over 50 marching bands from Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska for a full day of music, talent, and school spirit.

📍 Downtown Clarinda & Clarinda High School Stadium
🎉 Parade – 9:00 a.m.
Enjoy a free parade through downtown Clarinda, featuring high school and middle school bands in full marching form.
🎶 Field Competition – 12:45 p.m.
We’re thrilled to welcome the University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band, who will kick off the afternoon by performing the National Anthem with a flag raising ceremony led by the American Legion Sergy Post No. 98 followed by the Hawkeye Marching Band's exhibition show!
After that, the Clarinda High School Band will take the field with their exhibition performance, followed by the full afternoon competition.
